Adult Characteristics

Depicted in Razowski (1978). Wingspan 11-13 mm. Forewing uniform lead gray wih yellowish sheen. Hindwings darker gray.


Comparison with similar species

None reported.


Host, oviposition, and larval feeding habits

Possibly on Rosa (Svensson 1993); specimens swept from Rosa majalis in Finland (Itämies et al. 1996). Said to feed on Ribes spicatum by Medvedev (1978).


Geographic distribution

Central Europe including the Alps, Germany, Austria, and Poland.
